Suzanne Oliver, Proper Care’s founder, is passionate about helping aging adults and their families through life’s transitions. Experienced at managing geriatric cases throughout the country, she ensures services are provided with the highest qualifications and standards of care. Suzanne earned her Bachelor and Master of Science in Social Work degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. She currently serves as Health Care Delegate for the Texas Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.

Linda Meeker, LMSW, has a passion for supporting individuals and families through life’s transitions. Linda's life and education allow her to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. Prior to her work with Proper Care, Linda most recently held positions in hospice social work and intensive group therapy for older adults. She holds a master degree in social work from Texas State University in San Marcos and is a Certified Eden Associate.
John Norton, LMSW, has spent nine years working with people of all ages living with developmental disabilities and dual diagnoses. He also has extensive family and group experience working with community and school-based programs, serving on the board of directors for CASA of Camden County and Camp Fire USA, Balcones Council. John has worked with the Greater San Marcos Partnership and the San Marcos Green Living Showcase doing social media, public relations, fundraising, and advertising. John holds a master degree in social work from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Texas State University in San Marcos.
Priscilla Elliott, MA, LPC-Intern, specializes in counseling services for the elder population. She is supervised by Sallie Ingle, LPC-S. Priscilla has performed case management and mental health services for seniors, adults, and families. The focus of her graduate studies included research on the needs of older adults and caregivers, and clinical interventions for adults. After years of working in the corporate world, Priscilla moved from New York City to Austin for the pet-friendly atmosphere, culture, and green belts. She graduated, with honors, with a master degree in counseling from St. Edwards University.
Nyla Lengacher, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at the University of New Orleans in 1989 and a Master of Social Work degree from Yeshiva University in New York City in 1991. Nyla has over 13 years experience working with elders in a variety of settings including: nursing homes, home health, case management, psychiatric day treatment centers and a sub-acute hospital.
